Micromachining & Manufacturing Modeling Lab

Director of m3 Lab received his diploma in Mechanical Engineering from the Aristotle’s University of Thessaloniki, Greece, in 1984 and the Ph.D. degree from the same University in 1989. His research interests are in Manufacturing, Computer Numerical Control, CAD/CAM, Machine Design CAE, Finite Elements Analysis, Reverse Engineering and Bioengineering. He is author of 7 books, and more than 140 journal and conference papers. He has managed or participated in numerous (>50) R&D national and European projects.

Born in Chania in 1995. He received his Diploma in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the Technical University of Crete, Greece in 2018. Since November of 2018, he is a Ph.D candidate in Production Engineering & Management School of the same University. His research interests include programming in CAD environments and gear manufacturing simulation focused in gear power skiving process. He has worked as a lab assistant in Technical University of Crete, supporting the education process.

Member of the Research Team of m3 Lab. She has received her diploma in Production Engineering and Management, Technical University of Crete (TUC), M.Sc. from TUC in Management Systems and Ph.D. from TUC. She has participated in more than 40 national and European projects concerning data analysis, experiments’ simulation and preparation of educational material. She has 6 publications in scientific journals and more than 25 conference announcements.
